Decorated Vietnam Veteran – As a Platoon Leader, received a Brigade level promotion to Company Commander, for Delta Company, 2/1, 196th Light Infantry Brigade.
Wounded twice in the mountains, rice paddies and valleys West of Da Nang, Vietnam, first as a Platoon Leader and second as Company Commander during the TET offensive in 1968. Greenlaw is the recipient of the Silver Star, 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Purple Hearts. Greenlaw currently serves as Co-Founder and Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 845 and served as Commander, for the State of South Carolina in 2016. Greenlaw lives in Greenville, SC with his wife Lynn and son MacKinley.
